Clarity Is Queen in Today’s Puzzling Emotional & Social World

Women struggle to feel grounded, purposeful and content in a world that continuously bombards them with messages about what they should look like, what they should want and what their priorities should be.  Marianne Williamson, in her book entitled A Woman’s Worth, speaks of a woman’s jailer being a three-headed monster: one head is her past; one head is her insecurity; and one head is popular culture. Historically women tend to dwell in the past where they compare themselves to unreachable standards.  I’m not sure who sets these standards…society, men, religions, or perhaps even women. The past haunts you even though you haven’t done anything to deserve it.  Usually the present is never good enough and you are focused on the future which keeps you forever frustrated.  Pop culture bombards your mind and relationships with confusing messages about yourself, your desires and your purpose.

Where is your clarity?  For many women clarity is gone or never existed.  You are confused, bewildered or hurting.   Start by looking for clarity, for validation (internal and external) and asking for change.  This change begins within—knowing and owning your feelings.  Once you have clarity then you will show up in your relationships differently—with strength and clarity.  You will be emotionally strong and have the clarity of a queen!
